Rockpool and seashore fishing


The Bay of Audierne has many shellfish.

Seashore fishing is free but subject to strict regulations. 

To ensure the continuity of species and of fishing, please observe the following :

  • Respect the minimum size  (download details below this article).
  • Do not take female shellfish carrying eggs.
  • Respect the habitat of sea creatures by replacing rocks you have moved. 
  • Only take enough shellfish for your own consumption. 

Warning : local  restrictions banning shellfish collecting may be in force.
